All-Inclusive Dining
From traditional to decadent, our kitchen is supplied by local, organic meat and produce whenever possible, including fresh greens from our garden.
The daily menus reflect seasonal bounty at the hand of an experienced and imaginative chef. For those heading out for an adventure, picnic lunches with lots of snacks are provided.
Our dining philosophy at Flat Creek Ranch revolves around the changing seasons, locally-grown and raised food and your dietary preferences. We’re happy to oblige to the best of our abilities for special dietary needs.
Breakfast
The day starts with coffee delivered to your cabin followed by a gourmet breakfast with seasonal fruit, homemade granola and yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice and something special and piping hot from the kitchen.
Lunch
A hearty lunch complete with fresh-baked cookies for dessert. Heading out on an adventure? Don’t worry about the food. We’ll send you on your way like Mom used to do with a delicious picnic lunch with plenty of snacks to provide energy through the day.
Dinner
Drinks and appetizers start out on the deck as your day draws to a close to kick off your four course dinner. Duck confit, osso bucco with local beef, and stuffed pork chop are a few of the opulent entrees you may encounter.
What Else is Included?
An excellent selection of beer and wine, including many local names, is always on hand and always included. You won’t be running up a bar tab like other dude ranches may require.
In addition, we encourage you to join “The Libation Station.” Bring a bottle of your favorite spirits and donate that to the bar, and gain access to the bar during your stay.
At the end of the night, you might even find yourself in front of a campfire with toasted marshmallows and all the fixings for s’mores.
Luxury Historic Cabins
Rustic but modern, our renovated cabins give you a taste of the old West while bathing you in luxury. Literally. Our antique clawfoot tubs are a guest favorite!
Western Adventures
Fly fish our private lake at the headwaters of a renowned fishing stream through the pristine National Elk Refuge. Hike an 11,200-foot peak. Ride horses. Your adventures will be varied and memorable.

The long dirt road to Flat Creek Ranch deposits you in a wilderness paradise surrounded by national forest and the Gros Ventre Wilderness. Complete with a lake teeming with trout in a valley ringed by mountains.
